Joey Daniels sings country, but she can write in lots more gears as well. Daniels wrote the song "Lola Sofia" for her friend Carnie Wilson’s daughter — Lola Sofia — and it’s a track on Wilson’s solo album, "A Mother’s Gift: Lullabies From The Heart." SINGER/SONGWRITER JOEY DANIELS GETS READY TO “DO IT AGAIN”
Nashville, TN...Singer/songwriter Joey Daniels will always be a country girl at heart but this summer she’s also gained recognition in additional musical formats. The song “Lola Sofia,” written by Joey was performed by Carnie Wilson on ABC’s Live! With Regis & Kelly last month.
“It was very exciting for me to have Carnie sing my song on Live! With Regis & Kelly, says Joey. “Hearing something that I wrote on my couch, in my living room, end up on national television was really a thrill.” Joey wrote the touching song “Lola Sofia” as a gift for her friend and label mate. The song is also included on Carnie Wilson’s critically acclaimed debut solo album, A Mother's Gift: Lullabies From The Heart, a collection of lullabies for her year-old daughter, Lola Sofia.
Additionally, Joey co-wrote Jon Secada’s most recent hit, “Free,” the 2nd single from the three-time Grammy Award winner’s most recent album, Same Dream, which was released in October 2005 and has garnered rave reviews internationally. “Free” is currently climbing the Mainstream Adult Contemporary charts and has entered the Top 20.
Joey is also making her video directing debut. She just completed writing, producing, and co-directing Secada’s “Free” music video, which can currently be seen on AOL Music, AOL Latin and Yahoo! Music. Joey is currently working on the video for her third single, “Do It Again,” and will write, produce, and direct the video which is scheduled to shoot in the near future.

VOICE REST FORCES JOEY DANIELS TO CANCEL CMA MUSIC FEST ACTIVITIES
Nashville, TN...Country singer/songwriter Joey Daniels has canceled her appearance at the CMA Music Fest next month after being placed on vocal rest. After a recent visit to her Physician for what she thought was a recurrent cold, Joey was diagnosed with acute sinusitis. To avoid the risk of any potential damage to her voice, Joey’s laryngologist advised at least six weeks of vocal rest, to give swelling resulting from the infection time to completely clear.
“I am very disappointed,” Joey wrote in an email earlier today. “I was really looking forward to performing on the Riverfront Stages and getting to meet lots of new fans. I’ve been singing for most of my life, have never had a problem with my voice and want to keep it that way! So I’ve resigned myself to following the voice specialist’s recommendation of rest and recovery, even though it means I have to miss being a part of the CMA Music Fest this year.”

JOEY DANIELS STORMS TAMPA BAY!
Singer/Songwriter Performing On Jumbo-tron And NBC Show In 24-Hour Time Span
Nashville, TN... Singer/songwriter Joey Daniels has been tapped to perform both the Canadian Anthem and the National Anthem, kicking off the Tampa Bay Lightning VS Toronto game tonight at the St. Pete Times Forum in Tampa Bay, Florida.
Joey will go directly from the jumbo-tron tonight to the small screen tomorrow morning (Wednesday, February 1, 2006) to co-host Tampa Bay’s NBC affiliate WFLA-TV’s Daytime Show. In addition to co-hosting the live, hour-long interview show, Joey will also perform acoustic versions of “Do It Again” and “Swinging Door” from her debut album, Take Me Off The Market. Daytime airs on Florida’s #1 television station, WFLA-TV News Channel 8 from 10am – 11am, Monday through Friday.
Last weekend, Joey performed at Charlie-palooza, the annual Charlie Daniels Country Concert for charity as part of a stellar lineup which included the Charlie Daniels Band, Montgomery Gentry, Jason Aldean, Trick Pony, Cledus T. Judd, Chad Brock, Confederate Railroad, the Marshall Tucker Band and numerous others. This February, Joey will travel to Los Angeles to attend the 48th annual GRAMMY Awards and will also take part in Country Radio Seminar (CRS 37) in Nashville.

Nashville singer/songwriter Joey Daniels. "The 39th Annual CMA Awards" took place on Tuesday, November 15th, live
from Madison Square Garden in New York City. The CMT Channel was the official channel airing the night's red carpet
extravaganza. Joey was caught on tape looking gorgeous in her Valentino dress, Jimmy Choo shoes & bag, Harry Winston diamonds and a J. Mendel sable wrap as she entered the venue.
