Sun, Sand & Symphony, hosted on Treasure Island Beach during the Memorial Day Weekend, was the biggest party Treasure Island has ever seen.
With over 25,000 people in attendance to celebrate Treasure Island’s 50th Anniversary of Incorporation, residents were treated to performances
by Country sensation Joey Daniels and two-time Grammy Award winner Jon Secada, both of whom were accompanied by the 80-piece Florida Orchestra.
The evening came to a close with a spectacular fireworks display completely choreographed to the music of the Florida Orchestra.
The event, a gift to the residents of Treasure Island, was generously produced by Mr. Bill Edwards, Treasure Island resident and Chairman/CEO of
Big3 Records. Mr. Edwards also donated a portion of all vendor proceeds to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
